Ben Kepes

Ben is founding editor of Diversity. He lives in Waipara, North Canterbury on a 12 acre farmlet with his wife and two young sons.

Ben is a commentator, consultant and analyst in the area of business in general and IT business in particular.

Ben is also managing Director of Diversity Limited.

The Unreasonablemen

The UM have spent the last 5 years working on the convergence of IT and T. They’ve held roles in strategy, marketing, sales and new product development for the largest hosted service provider in New Zealand. As such they’ve been a very early leader in utility computing, embraced SOA before it was even called that and been cogitating a lot on the new trends we see in IT, how disruption occurs, how incumbents react, structure themselves and address disruption and innovation.

They’ve also been closely watching the Web 2.0 phenomenon, SaaS and other service provider models.

Troy Wing

Troy Wing is currently CTO at Forcelogix, a Chicago based On Demand Sales Optimization Company. He has extensive experience with product architecture and database design for both on Premise and Software as a Service applications. Prior to this, Troy managed CRM software development for over 12 years as Vice President of Software Design and Development at StayinFront and oversaw 60 engineers in Software Development, Quality Assurance and Technical Support. He also has expertise in data integration, localization and synchronization with Software as a Service (SaaS) applications.

Julian Stone

Julian Stone is the CEO and founder of ProActive Software, a successful globally reaching SaaS business. Julian was also the original designer of the popular web based project management software www.proworkflow.com, which he bought to market with business partner and CTO Alan Barlow. The solution has a global userbase, mostly in the IT and creative fields. Talking to literally thousands of tech and creative businesses, CEO’s, CTO’s and VP’s of the last 5 years about their business processes, staff collaboration and project management needs has given Julian a unique knowledge and expertise in understanding complex business processes and creating simple solutions. He has a personal interest in SaaS solutions and is passionate about designing ProActive’s low inertia business systems.
