Dell's Boomi integration between Salesforce.com and QuickBooks desktop editions is able to be used with hosting providers like Cloud9Realtime.com, Qutera.com. This group of solutions allows a business to have a completely web-based accessible business, even though some of the software parts were designed for the desktop. The Boomi integration widgets are pretty cool, but good luck with that single-bill, consistent interface thing.
