I always considered PaaS as the only Cloud paradigm that brings some competitive advantage, compared to IaaS or other xaaS declinations.
IMHO a need for application “mobility” will arise as soon as PaaS become commonplace; at that time any supposed benefit on user’s side should be levelled enough that providers will naturally expand in to utility models to balance customer churn.
Anyway, CAMP is, by no means, a well thought framework; it deserves some success.
