News this morning that Solid Energy have purchased Nelson based solar energy company sensible heat.

This move makes sense from a diversification point of view and even more so considering their recent acquisition of a bio-diesel company.

SE have obviously done some strategic planning and define themselves as an energy company rather than a coal producer. A narrow and deep strategy always being a better bet than a wide and shallow one.
