In another positive sign for SaaS in New Zealand, Vodafone reseller DigitalMobile has rolled out Salesforce.com’s CRM solutions to its 600 staff spread across 60 locations.
COO of DigitalMobile, Justin Lobb, made some interesting comments, all of which increase th perceived validity of SaaS in the marketplace;
(before) We spent too much on compliance rather than getting sales
We also did not have to change our infrastructure. Our IT department was not involved in the roll-out
It’s great to see SaaS become more widely accepted and fuels a comment left on The UM’s post yesterday from Julian;
I predict that 80% of business management apps will be SaaS in 10 years
Bring it on I say!
